Construction and features
●Base pipe: A standard API-grade pipe acts as the structural support.
●Profile wire: A V-shaped or trapezoidal wire is wrapped around the support rods.
●Support rods: These are longitudinal rods that are resistance-welded to the profile wire at every contact point.
●V-shaped slots: The design of the V-shaped wire creates a continuous slot that minimizes clogging by allowing particles just smaller than the slot width to pass through.
●Continuous slots: The welding process ensures a continuous and consistent slot opening along the entire length of the screen.
●Large open area: This design provides a larger open area compared to conventional slotted pipes, which improves water entry and reduces head loss.
●High strength: The fully welded design provides high pressure bearing capacity and strength, with the screen's tensile strength being over 80% of the base pipe's.
